Mandorla

This short story was the recipient of Literal Latte's "Short, Short Fiction" Award. It was also basic fodder for my first novel, which was recently completed.

The Latest Impression

I wrote this prose-poem nearly a decade ago, though I finally sent it out earlier last year. Pioneertown published it and is featuring it on their website. It’s a poem about the cyclical nature of things, the places in between one state of being and the next, love, loss… all the things of Octobers. I hope you enjoy it.

The One Realization that helped

me Forgive Myself & My Father

After a difficult phone call with my father, I spoke with a friend about the pain I still felt due to my father's disapproval of my life. She suggested I write about it, so I did. I hope this personal piece helps readers who may be struggling to forgive themselves or someone they love.
